miclifeisgreat-yogyakarta first day

Last semester, we 6 people decided to go yogjakarta for 2days~

we moved at 9pm at night and reached there around 6am~

we booked a advanza for 2days and its only for 1.5mil/1.2mil Rupiah.. if im not mistaken la~

Its a very long journey, I slept the whole way~

still very car sick~ omo~

We arrived at our first destination, Candi Borobudur.

Candi means temple in bahasa indonesia.

Its a very ancient, vintage and historical temple.

Its a buddhist temple.

I found it kinda mysterical.

We need to pay for get in. 

For foreigner is US 20 dollar.

We are student so its US 10 dollar.

The overview~

We try the salong provided there~ since we dont know how to tie it, there are a guy and a girl to help us~

The map~ It has 3 stories. 

And we need to get it from the east side and go one stairs by one stairs to the top.

They say we should think of our sins while we walk.

and by one stair by one stairs, we will wash out our sins.

Of course, not necessary to follow.

There are indonesian students visiting too~

The funny part is, they asked to take photo with our indian friends~

Just like a stars~LOL

I like the sun shines to the temple~

We can take lots of nice pictures~ ^^

Along the way, the walls are full of different pattern.

I think there are stories within it.

But we dont have a tour guide, so we never know them.

They do provide tour guide for this temple.

If im not mistaken,Rp 200k/ tour guide.

After walking and walking, we decided to skip few stairs and to the top~

Kinda scary though

There are alot of bells on the top of the temple.

Each bells there are a buddha statue in it.

Before go back, we have to walk through lots of small stalls that selling different stuff.

we bought lots of t-shirt here since its kinda cheap

only Rp12.5k for each.

And we have our lunch near the temple.

I dont know whats the name is.

Its just simple indonesian food in a nice restaurant.

Along the way to Taman sari, there are cool statues.

We have a tour guide for this Taman Sari water castle.

Actually no need pay him, but since he is kinda nice so we paid him Rp20k.

And we know this place more.

Its a tunnel for the king to walk through.

See, how small is the door. 

Its like for kids.

And this place, an interesting story.

Is a place for the king's wives bath.

They will walk nakedly from the door till the building.

And the king will stand in the tower and look at his wives.

Then he will throw a flower or something for them to catch.

Whoever caught it, can bath with the king in a VIP bathing place.

Such a lucky king~~~ 

Made of buffalo's skin.

Even prince charles came here~ Such a honour~ Hehe

And we had dinner in Jalan Malioboro~

Its a 24hours street.

Nothing special.

Just a nice place to walk and see
